The final month and a half has been a worrying time for canine homeowners within the District. Since mid-April, there have been 4 incidents of canine abductions in broad daylight. Two puppies, a one-year-old French bulldog named Bruno and an 11-week-old Australian Shepherd named Pablo, have been stolen from their homeowners inside 20 minutes of one another in April. Each canines have been caught at gunpoint. Final Friday, a four-year-old golden retriever named Arcadia was taken whereas tied up outdoors a CVS on Capitol Hill, and one other canine, Charlie, He disappeared in entrance of a Big Meals on H Avenue on Saturday. Pablo, Arcadia and Charlie have been discovered and returned to their homeowners shortly after the robberies, however Bruno continues to be lacking.
